When Hitler came to power, Germans started developing various armaments. At first, it was done secretly, but as time passed, they didn't think concealing these activities necessary. Among these armaments, Germans developed Pak-36 anti-tank gun. The gun was produced from 1935 to 1942. It could pierce armor of any mid-1930s tank, but, when Germans faced well-armored tanks, first British and then Soviet ones, the gun was deemed inefficient and obsolete.
