Description

Called Spaceman or Space Ace, Ace Frehley is the original member and lead guitarist of KISS, he played in the band since its beginning in 1973 until he left in 1982, getting back to the group in 1996 for a tour, and staying until 2002. Spaceman is the portrayal of a guitarist trying to travel around in his spacecraft, and supposedly being from another planet. Presenting incredible resemblance with the rockstar, in his face features, anatomy, and costume, Iron Studios expands their line of statues of music icons with "Ace Frehley a.k.a. Space Ace - Kiss - Art Scale 1/10", part of a collection that compose the legendary band of hard rock, the first band portrayed in statues by Iron Studios!

Since its beginning in 1973 in the city of New York, the co-founder leaders Paul Stanley (vocals and guitar) and Gene Simmons (vocals and bass), alongside Ace Frehley (guitar and vocals) and Peter Criss (acoustic drums, percussion, and vocals) took on the personality of the characters The Demon (Simmons), Starchild (Stanley), Spaceman (Frehley) and Catman (Criss), aligning with the respective design of their looks. The musician quartet wearing bold and black leather costumes, boots with huge platform heels, and a dramatic makeup inspired by the Kabuki Japanese theater, as night creatures ready to kill, changed the concept of musical entertainment with their elaborate theatrical shows, including flaming guitars, spitting fire and blood, pyrotechnics, and other effects, the band KISS constitute one of the biggest cultural impacts of the decade of 1970, changing the concepts of music and entertainment, becoming historically significant not only in the context and world of Rock'n'roll, but also by influencing new artists and bands of other musical styles in many segments. KISS was introduced to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in 2014, joining the most known and influential artists that had a great impact in the pop and rock industry.

With 30 gold records, more than 103 million albums sold worldwide, the band continues to perform in makeup, with Stanley and Simmons still present from the original formation. No other band used its image or marketing better, being adapted to the Marvel comics, where Stanley's character, alongside the other band members of KISS, received superpowers from a wizard. In the comic books, Space Ace can create a cone of force that can temporarily imprison an enemy, teleport himself and others through great distances (other planets and dimensions) and vibrate quickly at atomic level being able to walk through solid objects. Presented on the Inside Iron Studios Day of July, check out the other statue "Paul Stanley a.k.a. Starchild - Kiss - Art Scale 1/10", both available for Pre-Order, and soon the other members of the group.
